Shimmy from the git go....

I will have had my FX4 2 weeks on Thursday. I have 1,300 miles on it.

After about a week I played with the 4H and 4L Features.

Ever since I tested this feature I have been experincing a little shimmy from a dead stop, when giving it the gas (easy on the gas).

The shimmy only last about 1-2 seconds, but it is noticible to me.

Anyone else experience this?

Any clues as to what might be causing this?

Maybe it is not due to the testing of the 4H and 4L, and maybe the tires are out of balance?

Thanks!

I dont have the problem but ihave a Lariat.

Tire balance will not cause a problem at such a low speed.
Most likely cause is drive line.Somewhere i have read about
the slip yokes in the drive shafts binding.there is a special
grease that has helped this problem.this is under warrantee.
make an appointment to get it serviced.
