Check your headliners!

This weekend I was cleaning the 04 F150 and noticed that the headliner was cut too small. It does not extend to the lock post above the driver's side door. What made it noticeable is that the felt (covering) is beginning to peel back.

Also, over the weekend I got a call from Ford regarding the dealer survery I completed. It impresses me that Ford does follow up to try to make the best possible vehicle, but, why not follow up with a quality control inspection right after the trucks roll off the production line?

As some of you know the paint on on the two - tone Lariats is very thin. The White is visible in streaks from underneath the AZ Beige two tone.

I had just put away my lemon law paperwork. It might be time to drag it back out. The design and engineering of this truck is terrific. The execution is sadly lacking.

I've read so many posts about shoddy 2-tone paint. I'm glad I went monotone. Good luck, I'm sure Ford will take care of you (eventually)

The two-tone on my XLT Screw built week of 10/06 in Kansas City is faultless. Info from several sources leads me to suspect that the Norfolk plant had some early production problems with two-tone Scabs.

Hey, just picked up my new F-150 last night. I've noticed the same thing about the headliners (cut too short above the B pillar)...

Has anyone found out anything new about this? Is Ford doing anything for people that the headliner is peeling back on? Thank you!
