Question Where to buy FL820S?

Has anybody found a good website to buy the FL820S oil filter? I can only find them at the dealers here in San Jose, at the premium dealer price.

Any auto parts store should carry them (IE Advance Auto Parts, O'reillys, etc).

Go to Wal-Mart. They have the filters as well as the Motorcraft 5w20 Synthetic Blend that Ford specifies.

I've found Wal Mart to be too expensive. They usually sell 5w20 for more than the dealers do. However, I know Advance auto parts sells 5w20 for less than it costs me as a dealer. I assume most other large parts stores sell it for the same. Also watch out if buying parts at Wal Mart as they have a tendancy to be generics with Name brand names. This isn't a problem on filters, but the tires they sell are Goodyear, Michelin, etc but usually aren't the same tires availble elsewhere, they're one-offs for Wal Mart that are a lower priced, lower quality tires. For the OE tires Wal Mart is usually higher than any tire store.

Wally World in the north Texas area sells Motorcraft 5W20 syn blend for 1.97 qt. and currently has it on sale for 1.77 qt. FL820S goes for 2.87. AutoZone sells the oil for 1.99 and the filters for 3.27.

If interested in ordering online one might want to try rockauto.com for the FL820S filters however, I do not think they carry oil.

If interested in using AMSOIL oil and filters (far more costly than prices stated above but arguable better) let me know and I will give you another email address for further discussion.

Our price here at the dealership is $1.75 a quart for 5W20 and Advance Auto sells it for $1.42, so as I said, Wal Mart is too high on their prices.

XCR:

You are an unusual dealer and probably one people enjoy dealing with. Dealers in my area charge $3.75 to $4.00 for the 5W20 synthetic clend Mototcraft branded stuff.

I find it somewhat interesting that Conoco is the current supplier of the Motorcraft 5W20 synthetic blend but I do not believe Conoco markets that oil under their own brand name. Go figure.

My local dealer prices the Motorcraft 5W-20 at $6.00/quart in their accessory outlet. I pay $1.77 at WalMart, $3.17 for the FK820S filter.
