It is rumored that some vehicles delivered to the vicinity of 0 degrees longitude and 45-60 degrees north latitude have square wheels! Could that be the situation here?

My lariat screw 4x4 seemed like it had a little shock absorber rebound when test driven, but don't notice now, just seems wonderfully smooth. No regrets here!!!!

P series or LT ?

Did you get the P series tires or the LT tires? From what I have seen the LT tires require more standard PSI. I have a friend that bought an 03 F-250 with the LT tires on it and they run 50 lbs of air in them stock....The P series tires are just plain passenger car tires rated for 35 or so psi....

There have been a few post with concerns about LT type
tires. Most have been serviced with a wheel balance.
It seems that the heaver Lt is a little more off road
inspired. My truck has P tires with no problems noted
to date.
