Here's a $5 rebate:

And a good price online:

Edit: rebate says duplicate coupons not accepted, but there's an 800 number for sylvania, maybe they'll send you an original coupon, or look for one at your local autoparts store (800) 347-3420

Looks good.

What about the amber reflector in there?

Maybe it can be swapped out somehow.

I think I will get some of these bulbs for my Harley.

I was trying to dismantle the lens assembly to get rid of the amber reflector, but to no avail. Ford used a sealant to bind together the housing and lens cover.

Maybe sometime soon, a company will release a replacement without the ambers.

Anyone in Europe or France can tell us if the F150's out there have all clear lighting???

The 2004 f-150 headlight uses a new type of bulb, sylvania is no doubt working on a new bulb for us, but not available yet.

And they'll apparently never have a xenac HID upgrade for us according to another thread, too small a market.

9008 is the part number for headlights. 9145 for fogs.
Page 47 of the manual lists all the light bulb part numbers.

Edit: I *think* the fog bulbs are currently available.

Not to start a flame war or anything but what's the point of changing the bulbs? Are the newer one's that much brighter? Or is this more-or-less for the European look?

Again, I'm just curious and not trying to start anything.

The Silverstars are a whiter light than the stock bulbs.

The point of replacing the turn signal lamps is because the stock makes it look orange, the replacement, clear. Looks better to me clear.

Flame wars??? On this forum?
