Do they burn orange when the parking lights are on too...or just with the blinkers going?

Talking Rebate Form from this site...

Just ordered mine. I contacted Sylvania at the number on the bottom of the rebate form and they told me (Heather) that we can use this rebate form and it is considered original. Also for the receipt we can use the order acknowledgement the online store sends to your email for that.

The rebate form says "Two (2) SiverStar headlights, fog lights, or signal lights... Clarification: you only need ONE twin pack or two individual bulbs.

Thanx for this information Perceptron:

http://lib1.store.vip.sc5.yahoo.com...rStarRebate.pdf

http://store.yahoo.com/rodi/31hipesili.html

$21.95 per pair.

Last but not least BrewMaster hit it on the head! I need to think about deleting this "Favorite" from my CPU cause it keeps costing more $ each time I come into the forum.

Hey, it's only money, right?

Hmmm, I almost purchased these when Red04 started this thread and Perceptron provided the links for purchase and rebate. This time I couldn't resist. I ordered the bulbs and printed the rebate form. Thanks YellowFX4Screw for contacting Sylvania to confirm the validity of the rebate

(Now, If I could just convince my wife how nice it would be to have that Magnaflow catback...)

YellowFX4Screw,

Troyer Performance has the Magnaflow Cat-Back listed for the '04:

I think that will be a nice mod. I'll have to wait until Spring, though.

Hey guys check this out. Do you think these will work? No indications they are Silverstar, but who knows. The guy has 9 sets available

SilverStar trun signal bulbs now installed

I received the SilverStar turn signal bulbs (Sylvania 3157A/4157A ST) yesterday and installed them today.

Before (stock):

After (SilverStar):

When you look at the front end head-on, the bulb housing still reflects some orange, but not as much as with the stock bulb. It's not a dramatic change, but I think it is a subtle improvement...worth the $24 cost after rebate.

Check out my gallery for larger pics. There's also a pic of my new front license plate...It is better looking than the new bulbs.

Hey JohnAndDar, are the Silverstars just as bright as the stock orange bulbs or do you notice a difference?

Wolfman064,

I'm not certain of the relative brightness, but it seems that the Silverstars are a little less bright than the original bulbs when just the headlights are on, but get plenty bright when they blink when I use the turn signal.

Has anyone checked with there local auto parts stores??
I just went to Advanced Auto and got these same Sylvania silverstars 3157a for $19.99. I saw a Sylvania commerical today on "Speed" channel and it showed many stores they are sold at. Do this before you pay shipping and have to wait a week to get them. Plus I'm sure you can still use the rebate. I'm going to send it in!
