Question Display info:MPG

Testdrove a 5.4 Lariat SuperCrew this afternoon.
Played a little with the info-button.
Fuel usage indicated 21.4 litres per 100 km, equals 11 MPG.
That's not a lot.

What exactely indicates that number.
Is it the fuel usage average over that particular trip or last tank.
I have also read something about resetting or something.

Outside temperature read 11 degrees celsius and that was about right.

It's the average since someone reset the counter. It should have 2 buttons side by side. Push them simultaneously to reset it. Any time spent idling or on short trips will easily bring the average down.
