White Lariat SuperCrew

I've had this truck for some time now but finally decided to make a gallery. Since these pics were taken I have had the front two windows tinted with a 15% tint.

Good lookin' truck. I may have seen you on Monday. I saw a white supercrew on Mahan Drive turning near Farmers Merchants Bank.

I too got my windows tinted (21%). Makes the truck look even better plus helps with the glare. Other extras were the chrome step bars and bug shield which were both added at the dealer. If you don't mind I may email you sometime to discuss trucks.

Looks Vaguely familiar......LOL.

Mine is VERY similar, with black platform running boards. I'm still debating the front window tint.

Here is one more White Lariat owner. No mods yet, except for the Niftys. I am still trying to decide on nurf vs. running boards and which cover to get.

Any of you notice very small brown and black spots on yours? Mine was covered with them. Really didn't notice it until I washed it. Clay bar took care of it all, but I was worried for a little while because washing it didn't do anything to them.

Jim, Please do email me. I would enjoy talking with you. I had some questions for you too that I don't want to bother everyone else with.
That was probably my truck you saw Monday. We live not far from that bank off of Buck Lake Road. I broke my leg this past Saturday Morning and have not even seen my truck since until today. The doctor ordered me to sit in a recliner with my leg higher than my chest-my wife wouldn't let me near the garage to even peak at my baby. Today she let me ride with her to Wal Mart so I could get out of the house. Anyway, she has been driving it to work since I have been home and goes down Mahan everyday to her job on Magnolia. It will be hard to get her back into her Tracer once I go back to work next Monday!
Mallen, I saw your gallery too and our trucks are similar. I am the guy who commented on the resevoir and used to live off of Old Canton Road until 1997.

Scott,
I did notice little brown spots on my hood. At work I park far away from the crowds under some pine trees and just assumed that it was from the pines. I had a tough time getting them off the paint but did. I can't believe that I wouldn't have noticed them the same day I picked up the truck if it wasn't from the pines.
Geo, that is the first two tone white Lariat I have seen. It looks reall nice.

I love my white Lariat Screw! Goes against logic, but white is extremely easy to keep looking good. Only mods are Stampede bug guard and Nifty Catch-Alls (not in gallery photos yet). One regret is not seeing a white/tan two-tone prior to getting my mono-tone. I really like the two-tone!!!!!

blueovalca,
I wasn't able to open your link up. I really wanted the black leather and was trying to hold out for that, however, my 1999 Taurus SHO blew a cam at 61,000 miles on a Friday evening. I had been waiting a monotone white Lariat SCrew with black interior. When I saw all of that but with tan interior at the dealership I brought my SHO to, I figured it was time to talk to the salesman. They were eager to sell as they didn't even wait for my SHO to be diagnosed before giving me a trade in amount. I knew exactly what was wrong with the SHO as it is a regular problem with that Yamaha built engine. Also knowing that it was several thousands to fix, I unloaded it on them and was driving the F150 the next morning. Even though the SHO still had another 14,000 miles on the so called bumper to bumper warranty, Ford has told the dealer they are not paying the repair bill. My engine was spotless and very well maintained but because the dealer could not produce all oil change receipts, the dealer denied the warranty work. The dealership is stuck with the bill. Even though I have always been a Ford fan and always will be, this really left a sour taste in my mouth with Ford. And they wonder why I wouldn't purchase the ESP on my new truck. Anyhow, I know that this truck is Ford's bread and butter and will be a much better vehicle than that SHO.

Sho,
I fixed my link. Sorry to hear about all your service problems but this new truck has been the best launch of a new vehicle in years. I know others have posted some minor problems but there nothing compared to previous new products launches.

blueovalca,
What a fine truck you have. I wish I had that black interior. I remember seeing your gallery earlier because I remember making the comment on the LS in the garage. I would be a lot happier if an LS sat next to my truck in the garage rather than the Tracer that currently and hopefully temporarily sits next to mine.
