A clay bar is just that. Although, I'm sure that it is specifically made for vehicles. It will take out any imperfections on your paint. I never thought that it could do that good of a job on a new paint job but it does. I believe several other people have also commented on how well it does. I had very very tiny brown and black spots all over my truck. I never noticed them when I purchased my truck even though I looked it over carefully. I finally noticed them when I first washed my truck. The soap did nothing to them, that is why I used a clay bar. You can get one from several manufacturers. I purchased one made by Mothers at PepBoys. Pretty simple to use but it is time consuming.
