Thanks for the quick response. Please find out the details about the install and ordering if you find the time!

to order just call or go to the parts dept and tell them what you want. They will be able to get it for you. As for the install he wasnt to sure. If he gets a chance he will check it out for me. If I was there I would look myself but im in NJ and hes up in Conn. Hopefully I will be there next week to pick up my new FX4

I think I might try a mod for the rail system and DVD in a Lariat w/sunroof. I want it all to work and look factory inside no matter what. I'll keep everyone posted on progress and outcome. I should be starting it in the next 2 weeks.

If it pops off and on as easy as the storage bin i think i'll have to pass......too easy to steal......to many crackheads would break a window for a 1500.00 dollar player.

Are you kiddin me.....

If it is difficult to get out, a crackhead is going to destroy your truck, and most likely whatever it is he/she is attempting to steal for their next fix.

You'd get much better results if you armed your truck with a bomb.....

Post the results with pics!!!!

I knew I read about powered rails somewhere. The October issue of Car and Driver did a review of a 2004 F150 Lariat Supercab. In the article, they mentioned that the rails are powered. Of course, that doesn't mean they are correct. Just my 2 cents.

I wish Ford would have offered the option of getting the Moonroof AND the DVD player.

I haven't order a 04 yet, but when I do I'm thinking of getting the moonroof and buying the Audiovox portable DVD player/TV for about $750. I don't need the DVD in the truck all of the time. I do like stock features that save you the hassle of dragging things in and out of the truck and setting them up. Also, stock options are fully covered under your insurance if their stolen. Their are trade offs between the factory and aftermarket...
