Center Console

Does anyone know what the clip contraption on the underside of the center console lid is supposed to do?

I assume you're referring to the tissue paper holder... with clips for a pen on each side.

This is my best guess...

2 pens (must be thicker than average) 1 box of tissues (can get at wal-mart or even the dealer), quarters, dimes, nickels, and a mystery coin, business card holder.

No PDA, Cell Phone, tape or CD holders as stated in the manual.

Thanks for the info - but that is an odd size for a tissue box, isnt it?

Yeah, it's an odd size, I guess thats why my dealer is selling them ($2.50) I originally thought it was for CD's as they do fit in there, but they were difficult to get in and out and then my mom realized it was for tissues and gave me a box. I never would have realized it.

You can get the tissue boxes at Target or Walmarts among others. There becoming a common standard for vehicles.

Maybe the "other" coin slot is for Canadian Loonies or American dollar coins.

Tissue Size

A box of Kleenex "Junior size" fits there nicely. However, tissues tend to hang on edge of plastic holding box. What are you guys using??

I have used this slot since I bought the truck for CD's. It holds 6 CD's just fine.

Finally spotted someone who had one near my truck to verify this personally. The "other" coin slot holds new American dollars, either Sacagawea or Susan B. Anthony.

Bet you didn't know the coins are the same diameter, thickness and weight.
