Ok, it's finally gotten to the upset line with about Ford's lack of options for the 04' varying between the models. First, the fact that you can ONLY get leather in the FX4/Lariat is a bit teasing because even though I like those models, it wouldn't hurt to have at least put them in some of the other models to save a little cash.

Lastly, why the hell can't you get certain colors WITHOUT having to get the two-tone. I wanted an all-white FX4, but you have to get it with the two-tone.

The fact that Ford is dictating what you have is annoying, as if their big *** logos on the front and back aren't enough advertising for them.

What irritates me is some of their forced options are commidities which means you have to wait longer for your truck.

 

If Ford doesn't make some changes and allow for more options on their models they won't see their sales go as high as they want. The fact is that they are forcing the "higher price tag" on their consumer's by making them get virtually everything.

To me, the perfect price model by price and style would have been an 04' STX with leather seating option. Although the floor shifter is nice, it's not exactly something I "must-have". The leather and 5.4L engine is pretty much all I really want to have and Ford knows that those two things are pretty much what everyone will want, hence their decision to force them only in the FX4/Lariat.

I wouldn't also be surprised if the 4.6L engine recall was just a ploy to make people buy the 5.4L.

Absolutely everything as far as options go points directly to the FX4/Lariat...and many of it shouldn't be available only on those models. It's rather irritating.

 

New model -- more ting with be offered as time passes -- this body style will have a 5-8 year run -- thing like KR and more and different interior and exterior will come -- You can always buy 2

 

lol I wish hehe... well perhaps I'll wait a little longer then to see if they more options. I really want an all-white (no two-tone) FX4 and would rather not have to pay another $1k-$2k to have it painted over professionally as having a all-color vehicle should be standard option (did I all ready say that I think it's stupid of Ford to do that?)
