My New SCREW XLT - PICS

I got my new Screw XLT today and, as promised, here are the pictures I took of the exterior and interior:

So far, all i can say, is that Ford should rename the truck to the

"Quiet/Glide". It's smooth and so quiet you start wondering if the engine is running.

I was wondering how the 4.6L is with the XLT Screw. I was thinking about that same configuration. How's the accel and driving under normal driving conditions ie not towing antying. I am looking to order on in the next few weeks. That's a really nice looking truck in the two tone paint

Thats a great looking truck in the two tone paint. I was wondering how the 4.6L handles the weight of the 2004 F-150. I am about the order one in the same config as you except with the captain's chair in the front. How's the accel and passing power on the highway? I do not plan to tow anything so I was wondering if the 4.6L is fine for just normal driving

Thanks

Well, I haven't gotten the time to do everything, but in my limited driving so far, it is plenty powerful. It is also very heavy and takes bumps like they aren't there. I weigh about 210 pounds and when I climbed in the bed, I don't even make it move. So the frame and suspension is extemely tight. This truck is basically standard, except the paint which they did an excellent job on, and the attention to detail is fantastic! The lower paint in the rear is trimmed and very clean. It is also nice when you walk out in the parking lot and you don't even have to guess where your truck is. It is the tallest thing in the lot!!

Tried to make it look bad

Well,

After a week of driving, I have some bad news to report.
I drove it through some mud, dust, and living in Pittsburhgh,
a million pot holes, and the damn thing still looks good!!!

I am a transplanted Texan living is Pittsburgh. Go Steelers!
I am and always will be at UT fan and therefore a TEXAN!

My wife hasn't talked to me in three days since I brought the 04
home. She just doesn't understand whata truck means to a man. But I did catch her looking at it in the garage the other
day.

Here's a question for you folks regarding the XLT trim level version of the 2004 F-150:

As I understand it, the "flow through" console is only available on the "FX4" and "Lariat" models. If you order an F-150 XLT with the optional captain's chairs, what is between the front seats? If there is some kind of "shorty" console, can someone post a pic of what that looks like?
