See, but that's bull*****. Look at all the other guys who ordered two-tone and have VINs. Check back on all the threads for VIN checks. Look at the SCrew two-tone orders.

I called Ford and they tell me the only way I can check my order is through the dealer and then again, the dealer has no idea how long it's gonna take. My truck is not even two-tone...

The manager explained that sometimes an options like audio, moonroof, whaever could be on hold and you could see the later orders being produced quicker than yours.

Yes, it is bull **** but I don't think there is anything you/I/or the dealer can do. It's just the way it is.

The manager talked to me like he is talking to just one frustrated kid or something but you know what? I do not give a ****. Like I said, I will just wait till Nov, pay for it, and leave without a word. I don't even bother making a phone call and dealing with the dealer anymore. I suggest you not to expect too much from those people. You are paying for the truck you will enjoy it eventually. I only hope you are not paying too much for their services/fees because nobody wants to spend money on BS.

Good luck

By the way, Christmas is just aroung the corner and you will be driving yours by then, right??

Well I'm definitely not paying too much. I'm getting A-Plan. And it is my Service Center of choice. 10 minutes from work w/ shuttle. But I have learned to separate Sales from Service. I will have it before Christmas. I was just hoping it would be a holiday or two before Christmas. Thanksgiving...Halloween.

I've heard all the "possible" holdback options, but have been asking around and other's seem to be getting theirs fine w/ my same options. And the Ford employees on this site have been saying that there's no delays.

I'm just a little frustrated I guess. All I want is to know. If I know it's going to be November 30th. That's fine. At least I know and can plan. I'm afraid to call my dealer for fear that she'll have bad news.

Well I waited for my dealer to call me back and nothing. So I called. She's not in today. So I either get good news tomorrow with a VIN or bad news without one. I waited all day long for nothing.
