Mirror turn signals

Hi

Can anyone tell me how to remove the lense cover on the mirror mounted turn signals?

Why? I am not sure how, I would imagine it is part of the entire assembly or pressed in.

It is my understanding that the entire side mirror assembly must be disassembled.
