Question Lowering the rear of XLT

I have seen the lift kits for the 2004 F-150's but I have yet seen any lowering shackles to lower the rear 2 to 3 inches. Does anybody know any websites that may have them for the 04's? Thanks!

you can try calling Trader's 2000. they are a local shop near my house and they keep up to date with all the new stuff. their number is (866) 669-6699. their website is www.traders2k.com but to be honest it is a crappy website. best to call them for the info. good luck and let us know what you fund out!

Yes. Call Trader's and get one of their bigass catalogs. You'll find something in there.

Is it 4x4? If it is, there is a approx. 2 inch spacer between the rear assembly and the spring that looks very easy to remove. Removing it would give you that 2 inch drop. NEED TO MAKE SURE NO ILL AFFECT BY REMOVING IT!!!

Anyone know if there will be ill effects in removing the 2" block from 4x4?

I would think you just need 4x2 ubolts and possibly shocks?

No mines a 4X2 XLT, so i think 2 inches would be about right. It would also help from backing over Hondas..........hehe. Thanks guys for your suggestions!
