Ford Loyalty Rebates

From a thread at FTE.

Ford announced today a $1,000 loyalty rebate on the new 2004 F-150 regular cab and super cab models. Show proof that you own a 1997 or newer F-150, and you get a grand. No need to trade in your current vehicle- you just have to prove you own one, or someone within your household.

I have a 94, that seems loyal to me. I've been in there for 9 years.

Actually waiting for the 2004 for 4 years.

Question

Can this be used with the 2.9% for 36 months or does it replace it?

Angry

I called Ford at the phone number listed in the post. It took about 5 or 6 mins. of checking and I did not qualify for the rebate. I traded in a 2000 F-150 and got a 2004 Fi50 Super Cab.
Took delievery August 30th. They told me that the customers that are going to get the rebate were selected sometime ago at randum and that I was not selected to get it. So, everyone will not get this rebate, you have to be lucky. I got a 500. rebate when I bought the 2000 and traded a 98 for it. I had already go the truck when I got the letter, but it was retro-active.

Help me out here, I just bought my 2004 F150 and took delivery on Sept. 10, 2004. I traded in a 1999 F350 super duty. I'm I out of luck here being it was prior to Oct.1, 2003? Both bought from the same dealer.
