The issue's you've mentioned are occuring with a small number of vehicles. I think the overwhelming majority of the new truck owners are quite satisfied with their trucks and are experiencing no problems, whatsoever... but you rarely hear about a vehicle that is running fine.

I've had my Lariat SCrew for a week now and am VERY, VERY happy with it. I'm still in the "getting to know it" stage, though, and am looking and listening for anything that may arise. Thus far, it's been more than I expected.

... and remember. There are always "little issues" or "bugs" that will need to be worked out with a new vehicle launch.

Yepper.

And I am the one with "engine problems"....and right now it is only a noise. It could be something minor or major, but the problem is, is that they can't find the problem...LOL.

Wing is right on.

I think for as many people as there are that frequent this board and there only to be a handful of problems out of all of them speaks quite well for the new truck. I am not sure to how many problems you were refering to but I can only think of about 3-5 for sure problems and the others are just speculations or questions about whether or not something is or will become a problem.
