Lost control in the heat of the moment..

I got my chrome side steps added on today and at the last minute decided to get my billet grill. They didn't have the bottom which sucks. It looks good, but when I saw the ones from Trenz I was hating it. The one I have doesn't appear to be finished. I will be getting a clear bra added tomorrow so I will post pix and be hoping for opinions on the grill. I was like a kid in a candy store, only I was in a store that apparently only had the hard rock candy.

It's a clear coat that goes over the front of the vehicle and on the mirrors(depending on the car). It is like a clear liner that protects your paint from chips and bugs and etc... My friend had it on his Audi and you couldn't really notice it. It's not like really invisible but it looks good to me and does the job. Check this site out. http://www.xpel.com/ I use a local dealer who does my tint and they are really good....

green21,

Do you mind me asking how much you are going to pay for the xpel and what all you are going to get done. I did alot of searching last night for the film to fit the 04 but is seems like it was going to be about $500 to do the entire front of the truck and that was doing it myself. I really don't know if I can do it myself. I would hate to lose some cash if I messed up.

I saw a Saleen Mustang at the Dealership that came with one of them... They blended in real well, I didn't know it was there till i read the sign, then looked for it.

scott99,

It was going to run me around $400. Unfortunately when I took my truck in, they said the only part they had was the top that covers the hood. I will just have to wait a month or so for the entire thing to come in. I don't think the tint place I am using will use the xpel. which is ok.
