not able to order SCab's

I was at my dealer today checking on my order and they said that the factory wasn't accepting any more orders on SCabs right now. Anybody heard anything about this?

Good thing I ordered at the first of the month. Mine is locked in now and I think is supposed to be built this or next week.

I just put in an order for a Lariat Scab 6.5' bed yesterday. I'll let you know if it gets put on hold.

This may be a regional issue -- there is a plan for how many of each style goes to each region -- it can change if need

My order went into the system on 9/24/03 for a Scab in Los Angeles. I had no problems.

My order was placed on 9/4, and is being built right now.

It was just in conversation that he mentioned it, saying that they where not being allowed to place any more SCab order right now not that there was a hold or any problem with the current orders.

I have a great relationship with my dealer, have bought three vehicles from them and they are not full of *****. Might just be a regional thing like BigMac suggested.
