Thanks!

Honestly, I haven't even been keeping track of MPG! I have a little over 1,200 miles now. Next time I fill the tank I will check that out!

Delphi has an FM Modulator that you can hook right into the back of the headunit.

The Antenna runs directly from the rear tail light, down the passanger side of the car, to the back of the head unit!

I would never replace the stock look on the F150 FX4 I have!

If you need any help, let me know.

Wow! I might just have to think about keeping XM with that antenna. I was seriously thinking about Sirius. Nice Truck!!!!
How does the stock radio come out? Dont you need to connect the FM Modulator to the back of it?

****How visible is the milege ect. read out? I know its black on gray and what color is it at night?******

csarkis7:
The Roady is mouted with the supplied bracket. Applied to the dash board with double sided tape. No Holes allowed to be drilled in my dash board!!

fordabbits:
As noted in my previous post, I used an XM Modulator. The sound quality is great. (much better then my other pioneer XM radio in my Sport Trac!)
The readout on the dash board is green in the lower right hand corner. Very readable.

The XM Roady is great. You can change the background to any of 6-7 colors. They all look great at night! The first roady came into Circuit City today. I picked it up. They only got 1 in stock and I grabbed it!!

hope this helps!

I hate to keep bugging you , but how easy was it to get to the back of the radio? does the trim around it pull off, or did you go about it some other way?

thanks

Scott

Truck looks great Haldeman called me on 9/18/03 said my truck was shipped on 9/16/03 and that it should be here sometime this upcoming week. It's identical to yours except for the moonroof and I got the LT tires. I purchased the vent visors yesterday but wasn't to shure how the bug deflector would look so I was going to wait but after seeing yours I like it alot. Could you tell me what brand it is and where did you buy it.

Thanks

I got "The Bugflector by AutoVentshade".

It was like $42 + $10 shipping or something. It came two days after I ordered it in a huge box!

The VentVisors are stick on and brand is VentVisor. I got those for around the same price.

I love them! the Bug Sheild took about 30 min to install (I can probably do it now in about 25). You have to remove the grill from the hood.

did you have to get behind the dash to install fm modulator, or was it under the hood?

Scott...great looking rig...good luck with it. You mentioned that you had to remove the grill to install the bug shield. Does the bug shield then fit in between the grill and the hood? There doesn't seem to be enough space for that to happen...unless the shield is real thin at that point. Can you elaborate? Also, do you know if this is the same shield that the dealer would install if ordered? I have a Lariat and with the chrome surround grill I'm wondering if it's going to look good. Where/how does it get fastened? Thanks.
