can someone pleasecheck my vin
Now I've got to call my dealer. People who ordered after me have VINs. I think people ask on here because it is easier than asking the dealer and you're getting more accurate, updated information. And since those w/ the power are offering it up for nothing, why not? They're just being nice. Plus, you never know who could be a sale for them in the future.

Exactly...
I get the distinct impression from my dealer that now that I have placed an order his work is done. I have called 5 times, and only just today managed to eek out my VIN. When I asked him if he could check on the various dates the truck may have he said "The only date needed is the date I call to tell you it has arrived." He did mention something about the word "bucked" as being a good thing, but could not elaborate, or even explain when that might happen.
So I ask here, knowing the people here are very nice and have a tendency to get VIN info for nothing more than a thank you.

That'll be the day!!! I would have probably cancelled my order right then and there, or at least brought his comment to a Sales Manager (hopefully he wasn't).
C'mon, nobody deserves that kinda treatment.
