Mirror Mounted Turn Signals

Anyone have a picture of this or have ordered the package? I'd like to see something if anyone has something about them.

Until you get more info... I saw these on a truck over the weekend. They're mounted in the plastic below the glass if I remember right. Looked rather annoying to me. I can't stand to see them at night right outside my window...

they are easily noticed. they are not the arrow inside the mirror like so many people put on from the after market. it is line at the bottom of the mirror mounting that has a light in it and a plastic cover, the same kind of colored plastic as tail lights. sorry, no pics though.

Yeah they are under the mirror, they are amber and in-your-face. I like the '03 signal mirrors better cause you can't see it from inside so it's not annoying.

I don't mind them, mainly because I think they help those "unattentive" drivers who keep their turn signal on for miles and miles.

"C'mon, change lanes or make a turn already"

I'm just curious here... what really is the purpose of these? From the person-behind-you's point of view they are almost right beside the tailight/turn signal... just seems reduntant, and not really worth it...

The idea is that someone in your "blind spot" can see this signal but couldn't see your rear lamp.

I think they're suppose to let you know if the turn signals are functioning properly. If they don't illuminate on the mirror, then they're not working in front or in the rear...

I'm more in agreement with XCR440SP and wingn8ive on their functionality purposes... it's more for blind spot warning... and for those that just really dont pay attention usually the mirror mounted signals catch their attention.

Yes, and the LEDs are angled out somewhat so the person in your blindspot gets the bright light.

From the drivers seat, they are not bright at all. You barely notice them.
