My dealer is a little stumped on something. I've asked them to order an FX4 with shadow grey exterior, and the medium flint clost 40/20/40 seats.

Heres the question... when the dealer goes through his order book, for the seats he sees the code "GB" listed as the sport cloth 40/20/40 in medium flint, but when he enters it into the system, it replies as sport cloth black. So, is this the correct code? IF not, what is the correct code?

Please forgive my ignorance if I described this process incorrectly, I'm relaying a phone conversation from a dealer, who I think I'm his first '04 order.

According to the info I have for the FX4 interior:

GB is Medium Flint Sport Cloth 40/20/40 Split Bench
LB is Medium Flint Sport Cloth Captain's Chairs (NA on Reg Cab)
QB is Medium Flint Sport Leather Trimmed Captain's Chairs (NA on Reg Cab)
BB is Black Sport Cloth 40/20/40 Split Bench
RB is Black Sport Cloth Captain's Chairs (NA on Reg Cab)
JB is Black Sport Leather Trimmed Captain's Chairs (NA on Reg Cab)

It is a bit confusing, I ordered the FX4 with grey captins chairs and the way that it read on the order was L next to the seat color and B next to the interior color. All of the FX4's come with Black interior and the dealer checked it the order to make sure that it was correct. But all is good

 

Right... I think the color and seat choices are coded seperately.

The interior color is coded with a single letter:
W for TAN, E for FLINT & B for BLACK

The seat choice is the preceeding letter of the code.
