To quote the dealer: IT'S HERE!! ITS HERE!! IT'S HERE !!

Ordered 7 April, built 17 July, parked in that lot on S. Miltary Highway in Virginia Beach for 7 weeks and it just shows up today with no notice (shipping date) in the Ford System. As it rolls off the carrier they say "oh! That is Mr. Stevens' truck!".

Notified at 5:15 pm by email. As they are 75 miles away I itll catch a ride tomorrow and get it.

JStevens-I'm really tickled for you as you have been thru alot.
My 4x2 Supercrew Lariat also came in today, will get tomorrow.
It was ordered on 4-1.. It has a low serail # like yours (01566).
Mine though was built on 8-25 and did not have the agonizing wait that you had. My dealer's Monday report showed delivery to be on 9-2 but it was only a week late. Hope they are worth the wait.

If Ford did not change the window stickers, they used to say the name of the person who ordered it right on there. If it was built just to go on a lot, it says the dealer's name. Anyway, it is cool to take delivey of your own truck with your name on it from the factory.

 

Congrats jstevens and Boatman! Cant' wait to hear your experiences with your new trucks! I'm sure you won't be dissapointed.

 

If it's two tone I would love to see some pics since mine is going to be Aspen Green/Arizona Beige Lariat Scab. Since I don't get mine for another 279 days (but who's counting!) I would really like to see that color combo before. Congrats and good luck with the delivery.
