What tires are the FX4 and XLT4x4 coming with?

For 17"?

For 18"?

 

My XLT ordered with the optional 255x70P.17 had General tires, had General on my 97 and they were A,OK. JT

 

My dealer gave me the choice of either Goodyear Somethings or BF Goodrich Rugged Trails. My previous experience with Goodyear was a crappy one so I went with the BFG's. I would have preffered All Terrains as this is my aftermarket tire of choice, but they dont make them yet. They do make a larger tire though in the All terrain tread, but I dont know if I want to go through the recalibration for the speedo and other things for now.

 

I believe that with the 17" wheels you get Hankook or General and with the 18" you get the choise of BFGoodrich or Goodyear

 

What about the Michelans...???
I was offered this choice on an FX4 with 18" wheels.

 

All of the FX4 I have seen with the 18" wheels have the BF Goodrich tires.

 

Were they all SCabs?
Maybe Michelans are being offered on FX4 SCrews, only...???
I believe the Michelans were an option in an earlier order guide as well.
