DVD Option Question:

I read that "rear seat volume control" comes with the DVD Entertainment Option (which won't be available until Dec.) Since DVD is for use with the overhead rail system, I'm going to be buying it early next year. So, my question is, would the vehicle still come with the ability of "rear seat volume control" if the package wasn't ordered WITH the vehicle.

(does that question make sense?)

i'll hazard a guess. in the Explorer is comes with rear seat vol control when there is no DVD. i guess the F-150 would take the same path, but i am not sure.

This might be one of those options where the wiring is installed but not implemented. Like the keypad entry system.

My guess is that there is a audio loopback plug in the overhead. The plug is installed when there is NO DVD and removed when there is a DVD.

Any new owners want to take a look for us?
