Didn't make it

Worst possible scenario came true for me. Ordered truck in June, hoping it would be here by September 1 so I didn't have to fix the transfer case on my Explorer and I could just trade it in. It's looking like it will be around October now before I get my truck. And you guessed it...transfer case is just about fully shot. I can't go a full month without a vehicle. Now I have to get it fixed ($500-$1,000). Which now means I will have to work at trying to privately sell it if I want to make back my money.

And to top it off, the Phillies are 1 & 8 in their last 9 games.

I know what you mean :-( I'm in the same boat. My transmission just went out! I'm hoping someone can look up my order number and let me know about when mine will be in but so far nobody has replied. What luck huh?

It stinks. That transfer case is the whole reason I was considering a new truck. Now I'm getting it fixed anyway. But I'm not canceling. I will trudge forward with the plan. At least now I will be able to tolerate the late truck arrival more, now that I don't feel under the gun to dispose of the Explorer before it goes ka-pupt.

Talking

More good news! The repair that was supposed to cost $1,000 only cost me $641.94. Rear transfer case. This day has gone from total cr@p to total sweetness!
