Nice reply...

Nice reply Pickup Man.

Yep, everyone did make some pretty good points.
Competition is a good thing.

When it comes to Trucking, I'll have to say Ford does it best- their only REAL competition is Kenworth!

I just think that Titan is gonna be a big surprise to some. Not me, becuase I know a thing or two about Nissan build quality & reliability- so I'm not scared at all about their forray into truckville. I know they won't out-sell Ford- but with the 1997 - 2003 F-150 as a guide, with Japanese tenacity & attention to detail- you'll be sorely mistaken to assume this vehicle to be a chump, without a test first...

In the end, we all benefit. I for one will never go off road in my $30,000+ vehicle. That's what they sell used Bronco's & Wranglers for. My F-150 & Expedition will get babied, and driven only on the smoothest of asphalt & concrete until the day I trade her in. So, with that- bring on the luxury!!

Oh God my back hurts! I have arthritis and just getting my keys out is killing me!! I think I'm gonna need that tailgate power assist thing. And how about that heated seat option, that should relieve some of my backaches. Oh geez, pass that Pepto Bismol to this old fart, the end is near..

Titan Frame

I received the following information from a Ford engineer, so take it as you may. They had a comparo with the O4 F-150 and the Nissan's frame....they lifted and bolted three of the four corners down on each and then had the heaviest guy around stand on that "open" corner. The Titans frame almost touched the floor. The Ford....well it barely moved. Take it for what its worth....do you want a TRUCK or do you want a vehicle that looks like a truck but has a very questionable frame to haul your stuff with?

Is this a trick question?

.. strange if you consider the order of the pictures.

If you're gonna quote me, do me the favor of quoting me completely and correctly. I think there was a IMO in my comments that you left out (i.e. a personal opinion was offered, not a blanket assertion). And forgive me for owning a truck that I use as a truck. I own an SUV and a car as well, so I equip each of my vehicles for their intended uses.
