Overhead rail system

Imagine if they put this option in all trucks and cars.
There would be so many options and aftermarket equipment.

Interestingly they could put this in a some cars and suvs with both the rail system and moonroof.

While I love the moonroof, I will not get one as the storage provided by the overhead rail system is tough to give up. Especially given the lack of storage without it. I like storage thats out of sight. The storage on the dash is too visible and gets too hot in the sun.

I'm finding I'm not liking my moonroof as much as I thought, I have to close it in the daytime becuase my Eyes are reallyt sensative to light, so with the sun coming in full blast it generally gets past the sunglasses too easily, but I love it at night! So I'd definantly go with the Rails..

I'm going with the moonroof. How much storage does one need? You have the center console, side storage on the doors and the glove box to put things in. Should not have any need for more than that. I would much rather have the moonroof than the extra storage which I already feel is adequate. Just my opinion!

I want the moonroof!
For additional storage, I'll probably add a shelf above the visors like in my current Truck.

You know, I never thought about this and I hope Ford did, but being at the top of the roof, wont things in the overhead storage get pretty hot, seeing the roof is the first thing the sun hits? I cant remember, my 00' had the small cubbys, if those got hot too.
