2004 F150 Spec Book!

This may be something that everyone knows already but..

Today my dealer received the 2004 F150 book with ALL of the specs on the F150. They were happy to call and tell me it arrived. I went right over and picked it up. Lots of great pictures and answers to lots of the questions that everyone is talking about.

The FX4 is looking better then ever!

I'm placing my order tomorrow!

I saw one in person yesterday

When i was at the fair last night i ran accross a ford tent.......they had a 2004 f150 step side fx4 there...it had the 5.4 with 18 inch wheels......... the interior is really cool. I like it better than i thought i would. And i crawled underneat it too.....and what i saw absolutely amazed me. The first thing that grabbed my eye was the aluminum control arms....im not really impressed there i dont like aluminum suspension parts. The next thing that i saw was the strut on the front end...a first as far as i know for a truck. And the last thing was the rack and pinion steering. Which i absolutely love... Rack and pinion steering so much bettter that the old steering gears.. the racks stay tighter longer and require fewer moving parts......u only have an innner and an outer tie rod end..With the older gears like the worm and sector u had pitman arms and idler arms along with ur tie rod ends.. Anyway it was way cool....i would love to have one but my budget is going to be at a trickle for many years to come so my ol 99 is gonna have to get through for a good long while.. Anyway i just thought maybe someone would like to hear that.. later

I need to find one of these books.

I have a PDF of the owner's manual. If anyone is interested in a copy, let me know and I'll email it off you to you.

Cheers.

That is cool, won't even need to turn a page when it gets here. Thanks for sending the manual and if needed I would be happy to send it along. Once again thanks and it looks like I got some reading to do.
