This forum has been an incredibly informative place. Thanks to all of you I have made a decision. I have decided that since I can get an '03 for anywhere from 7 - 10,000 less than I can an '04 that I am going to an '03. If that seems odd to you... oh well, I guess I won't invite you over for dinner. If the '03 is too small in the SCAB back I will go to Silverado and be done.

Later all

Cool Income percentage

So I would be dropping 14% of my monthly income on a truck. So you people who have lived in the real world longer than me, that's pretty bad?

On another note, if I don't order one, there are NO 03's left in Houston with what I am looking for. NONE of them have a moon roof or even a sliding rear window. So I'd have to get a Lariat or worse, a CAR....

Stupid important decisions. LOL

I would get a Lariat, but I don't want to give up the FX4 Suspension! Stupid important decisions!!

P.S. I ain't even going to figure out how much of my monthly income this will take... It would hurt WAAAY too bad... so I'll just be ignorant and know that I might go a little bit hungry for the next few years!

I'd wait a year or two for the kinks to be worked out. Save some $$$ 'till then, too.

That is kind of like me. I plan on keeping the one I have after it is paid off in 2006, then maybe I'll look at something else...

Cool My Father

Well guys, I have my solution, which actually came from my father. I am going to buy my lease. I will likely by able to buy it very close to it's person to person selling price, and WELL under dealership resale price. Since it's 39 mos. old, it has hit most of its depreciation. So I'll be able to resell it and only lose maybe $1,000.

Then, patienly over the next few months I will be saving more and more to put down on the truck of my deams. As well as wait for rebates or deals on the '04. And when I feel I ave enough saved up I am comfortable with buying an '04, the apple of my eyes will be mine.

But I am not going any where, I wanted to here ALL about them when you guys take delivery!

Sad at not getting my truck in a month, but happy with my decision! LOL, wish my lucking getting my $500 deposit back. Even though I made him put refundable it writing!
