The Ford College Graduate rebate is $400.00 and applies to anyone who has graduated from a college within the last two years or will graduate within the next 6 months. They've added quite a few restrictions to it recently and there are several vehicles you can't use it on any more. Also, the current program expires at the beginning of January 2004.

Details are on the Ford website.

There's probably ads in your college paper or around campus somewhere but if not your dealer should know about it. All you have to do once you agree on price is ask for the rebate and bring a photocopy of your diploma/degree.
Thank you for THAT information! This is really good news! That FX4 is so close, I can smell it!

YW, check what Bandito had too, his info sounds more current and particular to the US program. In Canada it's $1000, sounds like it's much less in the US.

What will they ask in the finance office besides what is the A Plan PIN? Relationship? etc.... Heck I think he is my long lost brother....heheheheheh

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, This board ROCKS

freddy

When i bought my o2 supercrew last march, the salesman was coo, he told i can save some money if i got a X-plan pin#.
so i called my credit union and got the FIN# ...then I called the 1-800 #and thats when they gave me the pin # and at the time they didn't say what kind of plan i was getting, so i think they determine the plan be the FIN" i gave them(from my bank)...
and they weired thing is that, the lady at the bank didn't have to give it to me... i just called and ask her that I'm buying a truck and they told me i can save money buy getting a X-plan pin# and I did...

By the way your allowed to use two PIN#'s a year... its simple to get a (no hassel-buying program) PIN#...just follow the instructions i just gave you....

Oh, also what do u have against lying to Ford...Who cares they lie all the time to consumers...whether its them directly or the Ford car salesman...If I can get an "A" plan PIN#...I'm going to do it...whether I tell the truth or not...i rather put money towards my kids/myself than to Ford...Peace...I'm out!!!

Cool Bad news Andy...

A, X, and D Plan disqualify you from the college grad program. You can, however, find dealrs who are not aware of this fact. It's a matter of your scruples. And the way I was treated by 3 dealers today, DESPITE being X Plan, I have no scruples.
