clarkn,

I really like the true blue. As for upkeep, I'd put it in the medium effort catagory. It's definitely much easier than black and definitely more work than white, as is most colors (I'm being really specific here!). I had a white T-Bird SC a few years back and finally decided that it would not look dirty unless you wanted to throw mud on it with a shovel. It was a pain to wax though (hard to see, I'd carry a rag for a few days, discovering various patches that I had missed buffing off). I'd do the same color (true blue) again, except that I try to rotate colors everytime I get a different vehicle. It's one of those colors that people think looks really good until the sunlight hits it, then it's Wow.

Congratulations on ordering a new truck. You definitely have good taste for color! I think I am going to have the '04 catalog pages laminated so that the drool won't smudge the pictures! I plan to keep my '02 for quite a while though, I kept my last pickup 12 years. There's no way I'll be getting anything else soon, that would require a job (and a very good one), which unfortunately I don't have at the moment.

rdh, thanx for the info. I AM PSYCHED about the new truck. I, like you, am planning on keeping it forever. The one I have now is 10 but I am sure the new one will stay in the family longer.

I think im going to go with the dark grey metallic or whatever its called, hopefully not show scratches or dirt too much which im sure mine will have some within a couple weeks,, i just cant help it. An FX4 belongs in the sticks, just ask my last truck. Teador Red shows scratches very well unfortunately. Cant wait.

I ordered mine and I find the Medium Wedgewood Blue to be a really cool color. Especially w/ the Silver tu-tone.
