My dealer has prices

Just to let everyone know, my dealer emailed me the MSRP, Invoice, and X plan prices for the 2004 lariat I ordered! So call your local dealer and they should be able to get you a price on any truck.

Sherm,
I read that someone posted there had been changes in the X plan pricing, did you find that to be true? It sounded like this person thought they had gone up, but I was not sure how they knew since no pricing was out at the time he had posted. Thanks I am also looking at an '04 Lariat under the X plan so I am really interested in what you found out.

thanks

Question

Well I have to do it. Even after just putting intake, chip, hedders and exhasut on my screw, I HAVE to have the new model. It comes nowhere close. But here comes the dummy question...what is the "X" plan. Ive heard it mentioned many times before, but never knew what it was...

I think the x plan is something where if your the family or close freind of a ford employee, you can get discounts through them. Not sure though. What I want to know is what is the "A" plan?

A Plan is for Ford employees or close family. Some dealership employees also pay this price. It's under dealer cost and Ford pays the dealer a commision.

X plan used to be for extended family and be a decent deal. Now its given to just about anybody and isn't any better price than normal.

Smile Got my Price also !

I have the same dealer as bigsherm77. Bob Keller at Koons Ford College Park, MD. He both emailed me and called at work to insure I was getting his email!

Loaded 2x4 Lariat SC 6.5 ft bed, Aspen Green, Tan leather, heated, powered Capt Chairs, limited slip, running boards, tow pkg, reverse sensor.

An unofficial invoice of $ 28,800 + $ 100 = $ 28,900 plus Tags and Title. This is about $ 1K more than the invoice price for a similar 03 model I priced in January on-line (before rebates).

Yesterdays News conference said there would be rebates from the start and that Norfolk would ship by the end of the month. That makes my supposed ETA of 7/28/03 look more possible?

So far a very happy camper.

Nice. Thanks.

This isn't looking as bad as we thought yesterday.

In fact, in today's USA Today there was an article about the new prices.

It speculates that GM is going to start major incentives on the Chevy's and GMC's when Ford rolls out the 04, thereby "forcing" Ford to start their incentives earlier then planned.

SC = Super Cab

The dealer this afternoon "certified" 6 & 1/2 foot bed on a 145" wheelbase. Did I use the wrong short hand for super cab? Most identify crew cab as Crew or Screw which does only come in a 139 inch wheelbase it appears.

hey boomer and david

Lariat Supercab 4x4 with pretty much everything but running boards, reverse sensing thing, and DVD system.

MSRP $37680
Invoice $32969
X plan $32800

As far as x plan price changing, I have no idea. I had never heard of it either until about 2 months ago. However, it does seem like a good deal with a no haggling bonus.

ok, so if the "X" plan is available to almost anyone, how can i use it? Do i just walk up to the dealer and tell them I want the x plan for a new 04?? is there a trick to it? I really want one of these trucks, and I will have to shop around for the best price. I want an FX4 screw in white with the two tone bottom, and possibly leather....but not to get off the subject, how can i get use of this "x" plan??

You have to find a friend who works for Ford or one of its affiliate companies that is willing to give you a pin number for the x plan.
