Need definitive tow numberes today

I am haggling on a new Screw 03 today but I tow a travel trailer and if the tow numbers on the 04s are better I'll wait and pay more if the tow capacity is significantly greater. Does anyone know what a Screw 2004 5.4 4x2 with 3.55 limited slip will tow? I keep seeing conflicting numbers and need a definitive answer.

Thanks

Well, I just got done reading the review from both f150online and ford-trucks. One review said the trailers weighed 8000 lbs and the other said 7000 lbs. So, which is it?

Thanks,

Unfortunately, they don't give you cheat sheets with this information documented, but my recollection was that the trailers weighed 7800 lbs...and I rounded up...

If you plan to regularly tow over 6000 pound, heck even 5000 pounds, I highly recommend a Superduty with either the V10 or PSD. Besides the motor, you get upgraded suspension, brakes and chassis that will greatly improve the driving characteristics over a 2003 or 2004 F-150.
