Other than most of them having crappy General Tires on them, I think the pictures are great!

Yeh, what's the deal with those General Tires on an FX4? For an "off road" vehicle, the tread does not look that aggressive, and those rims?

I can already tell you that I want a white Ext. Cab Fx4 with the stepside.

Lifted 4" suspension, 3" body on 36x14.50...that thing would be mean...

Thanks for the link, I still couldn't get that great of a look at it though... sort of dark, but I know I don't like that stuff in the centre of the gate!

what is up with the wimpy tires?

I hope those continental tires and wheel package are some sort of a bad joke shown in those FX4 pictures. Also, looks like they followed Chevy and Dodge and have the front end so low that you can't tell it's a 4X4 from the front.

I just looked at the order guide and it states that the FX4 comes standard with P255/70R17 Continental tires and the 2 optional tires are P275/65R18 Michelins or LT275/65R18 Goodyears.

I wonder if Ford did that to sell more 18's, because that is what I would go with considering the choices.

Man, I'm really surprised at those optional sizes. I've got bigger tires than those on my 2x4 Screw. To me, a 4x4 just deserves a nice big (not monsterous) tire to give it the right look and stance. I think the 2004 trucks will look fantastic with a nice set of aftermarket wheels and tires.

While looking at those great pictures, they all seam to be 4x4's in either XLT, FX4, or Lariat trim levels. Did you see any 4x2 in XL, STX, or XLT trim levels? If so, I'd love to see pictures of those, especially in S/Cab.

Great Pics!!!! But I noticed a few things...

i) Every one of the FX4 pictured has the std 17 wheels, NOT THE 18's!!! Thats why it looks "under tired". I have a copy of the ordering guide and that is the 17"wheel.

ii) The "black Supercrew Lariat", is actually a XLT, NOT A LARIAT. And not too bad looking either. Probably my fav. You'll notice, no wheel lip mouldings and it has the std XLT 17" wheel. I'd like to see it with the optional 17" chrome alum wheel.

The white FX4 looks v good too. White seems to look good with the clear lens treatment...

The solid color trucks sure have tall looking "sides".
