Yeah....with 3500 cash back, you can't beat that.....that is exactly why I bought a 2002 instead of a 2003 this past September....got 3000 cash back on top of the A-Plan for the 02's....at the time they were only offering 500 cash back on the 03's....Sweeeeet....plus with Ford producing the current model F-150 along with the 2004 for about 6 - 9 months, rebates should be really good.

ksystems, yes Ford will hold all the trucks that are first produced just to make sure things are right. Recent examples are the Thunderbird and the 2002 Explorer. These along with the new truck are critical launches. They will in fact hold them and fix any problems they run into. Norfolk and Kansas City will be producing the 2004 as stated above. The 2003 will continue to be built in Canada until the end of the year. We build the 2004 right along side the 2003 right now. It is called an integrated build. We are building 2 2004's per hour at the moment. The trucks in the picture were built at Norfolk and Kansas City and then shipped to Detroit. My money still says dealers won't see them until Aug or September.
Don't forget the 2003 Expedition. My first unit was held almost 3 months from when it was built until I recieved it. I know of many dealers that really got burned because their first units were sold and didn't come in until long after many other units. Ford has a tradition of continuing to build new vehicles instead of fixing the onese that were built first and getting them shipped. I'll be suprised if it doesn't happen again on the F-150.
