What would you Do?
Guys,
I am thinking about trading in my Cobra for another F-150! I love em! I was cruizing around Yesterday and decided to drop by a local Ford Dealer and look at some used Lightings cause they are truely the sweetest trucks around! But as with buying anything used there just ain't no incentives like with the new vehicles, ex. $3K or 0%! So I looked at the new trucks and fell in love with the looks of the 03 STX flairside Ext. Cab! Those are very nice looking trucks! I am having the dealer look for one with a 5.4 as 99% of the ones I saw (which were very few and far between) were all 4.6 or NOT flairside. The problem here is I am concerned about buying an 03 and wishing like h3ll I would have waited a few months for an 04!
What would you guys do?

This is the toughest decision I know cause I there bro, I'm there...
but if you have to ask, there's your answer. You WANT an 04. You'll be sorry when you pull up in your shiney new 03 next to somebody else's shiney new 04. Don't give in, 04's are almost here.

Yea, I'm right there with you. I pre-applied with my Credit Union - they sent me a pre-approved draft, just have to fill in the blanks!
I like the way the 04 looks and a few more ponies sounds good, but the rebates and all sound very attractive also. Plus I have a 99, value will keep dropping.
Think I'll stop by to see what it's worth as a trade-in (already checked KBB but want to see what they're offering).

I don't know how this affects your decision, but there is an extra $500 Centenial bonus cash right now for you. Also, if you qualify for college grad another $400.

Ok guys......I gave in! I traded yesterday my White 01 Cobra for....get this one of only two in whole Atlanta Area....03 F150 STX Extended Cab Flairside with 5.4.
I freaking love it! It's got the styling cues of the Lighting with Front Faschia/fog lights/headlights/grill. The tried and true 2V 5.4 that seems pretty darn fast! It impressed me after getting in it from a Cobra! The sound system is sweet, stock Kenwood detachable CD/MP3 receiver. It came with Bedliner, chrome steps, 17" chrome wheels, bug shield, sliding rear window and 3.55 limited slip! Everything I wanted in a truck plus it was in silver to match the wifes 02 winstar!
I really fell in love with the STX's, if it hadn't been for these I wouldn't have bought an 03 because to me the regular XLT and Lariats look to plain!
If you are looking for a truck now and don't want to wait for the 04's I would HIGHLY recommend looking at the STX models!
