Bandito,

In regards to your quetion about the five speed shifter; I am not 100% certain it is a five speed but it looks like it has an L shaped lock out for park at the top of the shift line and then counting the spaces for gear indicater lights it looks like there is enough for a five speed assuming overdrive is with drive like on almost every other vehicle.

RND321 drive and overdrive being under D like it is now.

I was wrong about something before and that was a long time ago so maybe I am due.

Nick,

Geez, man! Are you using your supercomputer to examine and enhance details pixel-by-pixel (as I think of satellite photo analysis scenes from the movie Enemy of the State)?

A 5-speed would be nice, but what's available? Do you think the tranny from the Lincoln LS is strong enough for our trucks? That's the only one that I'm aware of in the Ford stable, excluding the new Torqshift in the SuperDuties.

Whatever it is, we should know soon enough! Keep on analyzing, guy!

<--- Hmm, my very own smily. How cool is that?
