I was replacing the rear door grommits on my 03’ as the door wouldn’t unlatch properly. Replaced all 4, now the rear door won’t latch at all when trying to shut it. Not sure what the issue is, I thought the install went pretty well.

any ideas?

is the door aligned properly? latch broken?

 

Yea everything is aligned, was messing around again with it today and got the bottom to latch again, I think the new grommets don’t have enough of an opening at the bottom to allow the inner cable to move freely.
