2002 f150 still stuck in 4 low!

Can someone tell me what the shift relay does exactly? The one by cluster?:if that fails could I be s stuck in 4 low. Still trying to figure it out. All is well if I can get the flip out of 4 low. The reverse thing maybe? I start in 4 low and stay there.

On the floor. I have vacuum tested, electrical tested and it's manual shift as we all now know. Kicking my ***. I watched that video days ago. Thank you though very much. I don't EXAXCTLY know how shift plate for linkage goes on extension housing and I'll be damned if I can find a picture. I know it's gotta be in linkage or solenoids. I replaced disengage 1. The one on left as u face firewall behind battery. My actuator is active up front but drive shaft is out anyways. Easier to .....with this linkage I can't find a picture of INSTALLED anywhere. I've looked , called Ford in Dearborn everything . I don't know FOR SURE how plate mounts to extension housing as I mentioned. I'm so pissed at it now.....very frustrating for sure. THANKS ANYONE AND EVERYONE WHO IS trying 5o help me. I n3ed this truck in 2 wheel drive. I fertilize lawns for a living and am losing my *** without the Ole girl. She is my only work truck as I got divorced and we all know how that goes.

Pull the case motor and try turning the shaft with a pair of pliers to get it in 2wd. Your case motor may be frozen.

stuck in 4 low

I found it after many different opinions. Nobody had photos worth beans, nobody really got it about being a manual transfer case and the fact it has a electronic clutch and basically a disc break type set up as a range reduction that the slider hub takes a beating when pads are shot. Then to find a fork .....been tough. Out of stock .
Anybody got a good part place for transfer cases in MI?

Try car-part.com, that's a junkyard search engine.
