Can I use Liqui Moly 🇩🇪 motor oil in my 5.4L ‘02 F-150?

Hi all, so yeah I know I know using fancy oil is usually a waste of money on a high mile older truck like mine but I just wanted to know since it seems like it’s $10 off on RockAuto compared to Napa Auto Parts (it’s $52.00 plus tax at Napa and $42.00 total on RockAuto website)
So yeah I was just wondering if maybe it has some weird German additive that’s not suitable for American trucks? 🇺🇸 thanks y’all

I don't know if I'd buy it because it has moly, but it does meet specs. I don't think it's any better than Motorcraft oil. Have you checked how much shipping is on it at Rock Auto?

Thanks for the reply, yes it’s about $45 total with shipping and taxes. I’m guessing with taxes in person at Napa it’s an easy $58ish. True though it’s probably similar to Motorcraft might have to buy that instead or Mobil.

I'm using Mobil 1 EP in mine, it's less than $30 for a 5 quart jug at Walmart. They no longer carry it in 5W20 so I'm using 5W30. Motorcraft is less.

According to what I just looked up, it's a mineral oil. Isn't that what oil used to have as a base? I don't know. I'm not tempted to use it.

The Liqui Moly that Rock Auto sells is a full synthetic.

Just checked the Napa website today and they have their store brand synthetic blend oil on sale for $13 a jug, just ordered some right now! 😁
