EV1 to EV6 upgrade

2001 F150 screw Lariat 5.4L 335,000mi. Coolant leaking at crossover (dorman from previous owner). Should have EV1 19lb/hr jetronic (jet) connector injectors. Assumed 4 holers.

Picked up oem intake manifold from a 2004 expedition. It has EV6 body injectors with uscar (car) connectors. Looks like speced at 165ml/min (around 21.8 lb/hr).

1) Trying to figure out if EV6 RUNS better, but can not find decent answer? Fuel economy, spray pattern, responsiveness?

2) EV1 look much more bullet proof. Do they last longer?

Have car to jet adapters incoming if I decide to go that route.

IF you change to a larger injector, you’ll need to adjust the tune via a reputable tuner and tuning device

Is there any benefit going to the 21 lbs. injector with a good tune? I've thought about doing that to my truck because of all the bolt ons top to bottom.
Mustangs had the 21 and some with 24 lbs. injectors always made me wonder about that.

I gained a few horses, but wasn’t worth the cost
