Fuel Rail on top of the injectors

I have been looking for a fuel rail for more than a year. I have been using JB Weld to hold it together and Leaking gas all over town for that whole time. Luckly I don't drive my 2003 Ford F-150 XL 2WD 4.6 6Cyl very far. Does anyone have any good resources as to where I can get one?

salvage yards would be the place to look I suppose. Your truck description says 4.6, 6 cyl. The 4.6 is a V8. The 6 cyl is 4.2L.

Assuming it's a 4.6 V8.

I have a set of rails off my '99. I'll send you a PM.

EDIT: Never mind. Mine are off a 5.4.

Clarification please, which engine is it really? On your VIN# the engine code is the 8th digit when read left-to-right. That will tell which engine you have and which fuel rail will actually fit it.

Also, it might interest you to look into what I found- These are not mine, I just found them at a glance.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/334067587939 2001-2003 VIN# "2"
https://www.ebay.com/itm/322482493280 2001-2003 VIN# "W"

Good luck.

That rail for VIN "W" appears to be for cars, not trucks. Also, a 4.6 could be either VIN "W" or "6".

Okay, fair enough. My memory was that VIN "W" was all cars and trucks of lighter duty; and that VIN "6" was trucks only of light or medium duty (different cam profiles and intakes). To be honest, the "VIN CODE" thing was really only an encouragement to the OP to do a little of his own digging; his comment read like he was just hoping we'd do all of the leg work for him; if he's genuinely been "looking" for a whole year, he hasn't been looking very hard; these trucks are still literally everywhere. I'd even be willing to bet that someone is buying one right now. And someone else is buying a different one right now. And now. And now. And now. And now. And now. And now. And now. But anyway.

VIN W is a Romeo engine, VIN 6 is a Windsor engine. They were both used in cars and trucks. I do not know if they use the same rails.

I didn't think so. What I don't know is if Windsor and Romeo truck rails are different.
