Latest update: 5 Star reached out to me and sent me another custom tune. I downloaded the tune and went out to restore the stock tune before loading the new tune and once again my truck is disabled. Of course SCT was closed yesterday. I am at home now, waiting for them to open. All I get is a humming sound coming from my dash. The motor cranks, but won’t start. When I try the tuner again I get an error code and fail message. I am going to see if they will walk me through restoring my ECU, because this is the second time the SCT tuner has disabled my truck! :/

 

SCT was able to get my truck running again! They said that they did not install the stock file correctly when they sent me the new device. Afterwards I downloaded and installed the new tune sent by 5 Star and the truck can now go past 98mph!
