Fuel Pump Driver Mod for 2000 7700 model
I have a 2000 F150 7700 4x4 extended cab. This model has a special towing package with larger leaf springs, air shocks, etc.. I am trying to locate the fuel pump driver module (fpdm) which is normlly located above and in front of the spare tire. This model is configued much different that a typical F150 and the fpdm is not where I waas expecting it.
Ok thanks but I have seen Youtube videos for the 2000 and 2001 regular models and they are there, where I explained. If this model does not have one, then something else must be causing the problem of fuel pump not pumping and truck not starting. I had replaced the fuel pump and relay about 30k miles ago. I was hpoing that was the problem again.
Thanks. I will check the relay and fuse. If those are good I guess it is likely the fuel pump.

There is no fuel system control module on your truck.
It is a two pipe system.
Pump in the tank powered through a relay under PCM control as long as the motor is running and runs the pump a few seconds at key on, before cranking to pre- prime the fuel rails for quick starting.
Fuel pressure regulation is done on the fuel rail to reduce pump pressure to about 35 psi. The rest is returned to the tank through a return line.
.
The equipment you see back at the tank area is all for the EVAP system testing for a fully enclosed fuel tank system for emissions.
You came here to ask, LISTEN.
What you may have saw on youtube is either your mistake or the maker of the video misspoke somehow..
