1997 F150 4.6L 5 speed manual stuck in 4 wheel

I was pulling a trailer hit a speed bump a little too hard and all is the sudden I had no clutch pumped it up a few times and got it going but now I'm stuck in 4 wheel I can shift to 4h 4l natural the shifter goes into 2h but no change it doesn't disengage. The T-case is BW 4406 shift on the floor it was very low on fluid filled it still nothing tried reverse also many times running out of ideas. Please help

Might be the shifter fork or something else got hosed up inside of it.

Sounds like you might need to tear into it.

I think you need to go underneath and look for damage.

Yeah I was afraid of that a friend just told me the same thing.
At least I know im on the right track.

P.S. im thinking about converting to manual locking hubs from what I've been reading they are much more reliable.

That's not really feasible - you don't have hubs, you have a differential lock.
