Coolant Leak

Video of the leak

I wouldn't call myself mechanically inclined by any means but with a bit of advice I can get some things done.

Driving home last night I gassed it a bit too hard coming out of a turn and seem to have sprung a leak.

Any advice on where to go from here, whether it's taking care of it myself or a temporary patch so I could at least make it until my mechanic can get me in.

The video is while the engine is on, after I had filled it back up. But even with it off it is virtually the same, just with less pressure of course.

2003 F150 4.6 triton.

I replaced one of those pipes. It is a pain in the butt. It is a press fit into the manifold.

Manifold should be removed when trying to replace it.

Part is $17

You know you can't drive it until it's repaired. Bite the bullet and take it to a mechanic.

Not sure about a couple variables ?
During the video was the motor at operating temp?
Was the overflow cap tight?

these are very important relative to how coolant system is leaking.

something you can try..might get you by a couple days if during the video motor was at running temp AND catch can lid was screwed on for NORMAL operation!!!
.....remove (unscrew) the radiators "overflow" tank lid ...so it does NOT PRESSURIZE the system. Crank it up...see how bad its leaking....if it is NOT pouring it (probably not) You can drive it without loosing a tremendous amount of coolant...but you WILL LOOSE COOLANT!!!! check this before EACH drive.CARRY a gallon of water with you...

Once FIXED...obvioulsy tighten cap fill fluid...eetc..
