Replaced gauge pod, theft light keeps flashing.

Odometer stopped working, so I replaced the gauge pod wirh one from the wreckers. Now the theft light keeps flashing and the truck won't start. Do I need the keys from the other truck?

Otherwise, you MUST reprogram the PATS system for the newly installed cluster

It is now DIY with correct gear (adapter, Forscan w/extended License). Has been for several years.

Well, if you have the dealer/locksmith specific tool... lol then yeah.....

If I was a smog technician, I wouldn't be paying $100 to get my car smogged, haha

You don't need a specific tool, just Forscan with extended license, a compatible OBD2 adapter, and a laptop, tablet, or phone.

No, TWO unique keys are required. The temporary extended license is free upon request.
